About HATL
The Hotel Association Tapovan Laxman Jhula (HATL) is a non-profit organization for the hotels, home-stays, and resorts in the Tapovan Laxman Jhula area in Rishikesh. With its membership extending from home-stays to small to medium-sized accommodation providers and hotels in the area, it aspires to be a mighty voice representing the interests of these broad hospitality sectors. Its ultimate aim is to get Tapovan Laxman Jhula its due recognition as a top destination on the world tourism map.
The HATL encourages and supports the sustainable growth of its member hotels through lobbying efforts, national and international linkages, marketing initiatives, and training opportunities. It assists socially and economically in promoting business through active participation of all its members keeping all aspects of development in the tourism industry. It infuses the culture of a tourist-friendly palace with the spirit of 'Atithi Devo Bhava' by maintaining a benchmark for all its members.
About Tapovan
Tapovan originates from the two root words: the word tapa - meaning the spiritual practice, and vana - meaning forest. Thus, Tapovan translates as a forest of spiritual practices.
